I enjoy watching the television shows about mining in Alaska…. May I say they are nothing like this video shows about mining in the 60s. I know that I have said on some of these videos that my back aches watching people work so hard…. When I watched this one, I not only thought that […]

I heard a wonderful interview on the radio the other day….. It was about a product that helped not only aging pets but also those with past trauma or aggressive and behavioral issues. .. Since I have a traumatized little feral beagle at home… I turned up the radio and listened closer.

The product is an oil that is given to pets in their food. As I was listening all I could think of was it must be like when you are terrified at the dentist office and you are given “laughing gas” to help you receive treatment.

The product is cannabidiol or (CBD) for short. OK OK .. I know what you are thinking.  You think I must be nuts suggesting that you give your pets marijuana…. Well let me tell you.. it is not the same thing. and your pets do not get high. Your pet will not experience a “high” feeling from ingesting CBD oil. Unlike marijuana, hemp contains extremely low levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the compound in marijuana responsible for a “high” feeling. CBDPet is non-addictive, non-toxic and non-psychoactive.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of over 80 cannabinoid extracts from the hemp plant that is non-psychoactive; meaning, it cannot produce a “high.” It is a natural, plant-based compound that is non-toxic.

CBD oil from hemp is not the same as the oil that is extracted from marijuana. The main difference between the two is that CBD oil from marijuana can contain varying amounts of THC. The hemp oil produced from industrial hemp is naturally high in CBD and contains only traces of THC which makes it safe and non-psychotropic.

Now if all of that sounded a bit Greek to you.. I must admit it did to me too… most of that was taken from the website of CBDPet… The interview that I listened to was so fascinating I had to check out the website… I read the testimonials as well as the frequently asked questions that are on the website.

This product is safe for both dogs and cats… This product does indeed sound amazing and if you are able to help an aging animal or one that needs a bit of comfort wouldn’t you want to help them?…

CBDPet is safe for human consumption. It is made to the same exacting standards as human version, but it is recommended that you check out their other site CBDPure that is for human offers a better selection of strengths
